A home inspection is just what the name indicates, an inspection of the home......usually a home that is being purchased. The purpose of a home inspection is to determine the condition of various systems and structures of the home. Having a Home Inspection is like getting a check up for your house. If problems are found in the home, the inspector will recommend repairs and further evaluations by the proper professionals. I start by inspecting the grounds and exterior of the house, then move to the roof, garage and finally the inside. Where I check all the major components. Top to bottom, inside and out.
